Department of Social Change Research is a structural unit of the Institute of Sociology of the Lithuanian Social Science Centre.
The origins of the Department date back to 1977, when the Department of Sociology was established at the Institute of Philosophy, Sociology and Law of the then Lithuanian Academy of Sciences.
The research activities of the Department of Social Change Research focus on: social diversity; democratic development; subjective security; lifestyles; academic ethics; and sociological research methodology.
